Under products liability law, a seller can be held strictly liable for injuries caused by defects in a product it sells. Under common law, the seller in turn has an action for indemnity against the manufacturer of the product. Texas has greatly strengthened this traditional right of seller indemnity through a statute which creates a new and distinct basis for indemnification.  (Complete Article)
